  • Bot logs into Epicor of company 1, retrieves SO number for given PO from Purchase Order Entry page.
  • BOT fetches required data from Order Tracker Page in Epicor of company 1 such as PO line item, need by and ship by dates.
  • Bot creates SO in Epicor of company 2 based on linked PO.
  • Enters due date and other sales details and saves.
  • Generates SO invoice and saves the file in the output folder.

First Article Inspection (FAI)

During the FAI stage

  • The FAI Bot automates the First Article Inspection process by extracting data such as drawing number, drawing revision, PO num, LOT num etc.. from various documents like raw material CoCs, BoMs, and PO.
  • It generates FAI numbers in Net Inspect web application and creates form 1 and form 2 reports with the extracted data.

Watermark obsolete files

  • Watermarking Bot marks older versions of documents as "Obsolete" while excluding the latest revisions.
  •  For files without version details in the filename, it checks and watermarks outdated versions after verifying their revision status.

Shipping (Logistics)

UiPath and Python

  • The Shipping Bot automates the entire shipping process from warehouse manifest input to generating packing slips and Bill of Lading (BOL) invoices.
  •  Bot extracts data from warehouse manifests like Box id, lot num, bin num, weight, SO num etc.. and inserts it into EPICOR.
  • Then generates packing slip invoices. 
  • It links packing slip IDs to BOLs for easy tracking and generates BOL invoices, streamlining the shipping workflow and enhancing efficiency.

Increased Productivity (speed) by 73% – Approx. 8 mins per shipment through BOT Vs 30 minutes per shipment Manually.

Data import for Advanced Supplier List (ASL) app

UiPath - DU, Python, AWS Textract

  • Automated process to extract data from various Issue forms (scanned PDFs from suppliers) such as approval details, division for which is purchase, applicable specification, provider etc.. And load to an excel template.
  • which will be imported into ASL app.
  •  Implemented using AWS Textract (Machine Learning service) to automate and extract handwritten & scanned pdfs.
